Free Seminars: Wage requirements for workers under section 14(c) of the FLSA

The Wage and Hour Division will offer free compliance seminars to learn more about wage payments to workers with disabilities under special certificates from DOL under section 14(c) of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). For more information about the act, click here.

Over the summer, there will be eight seminars held in various locations throughout the nation. Topics to be discussed include the certification process, performing prevailing wage determinations, and conducting time studies. The Department's online calculators will also be featured.
