Call for Applications: The Arc Day of Service Grant

Thursday, November 4, 2021

Online

Sponsored by: The Arc in partnership with AmeriCorps

https://thearc.org/dayofservicegrant

Is your organization ready to serve your community and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities at the same time?

The Arc is teaming up with AmeriCorps once again to offer $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 grants to chapters of The Arc and other nonprofit community organizations to develop September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance projects.

Grantees will partner with local service organizations and emergency-preparedness groups or local first responders to implement volunteer events to help increase safety and resilience within the community. Volunteer events can include demonstrating appreciation for first responders, educating your community on emergency preparedness, and more.

Events should begin no later than May 2022 and build up to a keynote event on September 11, 2022.

In these uncertain times, every community is looking for ways to increase community safety and be better prepared in case of a disaster. Apply for a September 11th Day of Service and Remembrance grant today and expand emergency preparedness in your community!

Deadline to apply: Thursday, November 4

To apply: Visit https://thearc.org/dayofservicegrant.
