Due to the public health emergency, the DC Council Committee on Human Services will conduct budget oversight hearings virtually. The Committee will hold two, six-hour sessions; hearing schedules for DDS are listed below.

The hearing record will close one week after the hearing.

Testifying Live at the Virtual Budget Hearing:

Email humanservices@dccouncil.us or call 202-724-8170. Be prepared to provide your name, phone number, organizational affiliation, and title (if any), by close of business four days before each hearing date.
The first 90 people to sign up will provide oral testimony; the Committee will confirm your testimony slot.
Witness testimony will be limited to three minutes.
Only one member per organization will be permitted to testify.
