These seminars will introduce educators to the challenges associated with autism and ADHD that interfere with a student's ability to be successful in the classroom because of cognitive rigidity and poor reciprocal conversation skills.

Drawing from two Ivymount developed curricula (with collaborators from Children's National Medial Center), educators will get an overview of how Unstuck and On Target and Conversation Club curricula can be used to support the development of essential skills that enhance learning and self regulation.

Note: The morning session (9:30 am-12:30 pm) will focus on the Unstuck curriculum and the afternoon session (1:30 pm-4:30 pm) will focus on the Conversation Club curriculum.

Place: Ivymount School
11614 Seven Locks Rd. Rockville, MD

Cost: $45 to attend one session or $80 to attend both sessions
