DC3C Exploring Careers, Colleges, and Community, is a program of the DC Special Education Cooperative. 2018 will be our 3rd year offering our Spring Break Program sponsored by RSA, and in partnership with George Washington University and the HSC.

Spring Break is a week-long student program. Over the first two years, we have seen a dramatic increase in student interest to participate. Students who attended in the past increased their interview scores by over 20%. In 2018, our goal is to have 75% of the participants leave the program with paid internship offers. To meet this goal, participants will engage in rigorous job-readiness training to master the interview, and improve their networking skills.

In order to help our students obtain the employment, we need YOUR help. Please use the link below to sign-up if you can volunteer to:

1. Coach / Conduct mock interviews
2. Edit Resumes and Presentation Boards with students
3. Participate in Reverse Job Fair

Please click here to sign-up.

If you are in need of more information, please contact our Director of Secondary Transition, Dr. Rebecca Foster at rfoster@specialedcoop.org.
