The DC Special Education Cooperative believes that if general education teachers receive training focused on understanding the needs of young children with disabilities, developing and implementing practical strategies for accommodation, and methods of instruction, they will ensure greater and more meaningful access to age appropriate activities and the general education curriculum for children with disabilities ages 3-7. As part of our celebration of National Inclusive Schools Week and due in part to the generous support of Fight for Children, the Co-op will host a full-day conference on December 10, 2015.

We hope to have both charters and traditional schools represented. For more information or tickets, please CLICK HERE.

Supported by a grant from The HSC Foundation. Developed and maintained by SchoolTalk, Inc. and Inclusion Research Institute in collaboration with DC Partners in Transition.
