Disabled Sports USA and The HSC Health Care System, in partnership with The HSC Pediatric Center’s Kids in Action program, are hosting a FREE adaptive sports day on Sunday, October 18 at Trinity University. Children and young adults with disabilities, ages 8 to 21, can choose different from up to 5 different sports: boccia, kayaking, lacrosse, sitting volleyball, tennis and wheelchair basketball. All abilities are welcome. Adaptive instruction and equipment, lunch and parking will be provided. Join us to find out about adaptive sports available in the DC area! Participants and volunteers can register at www.disabledsportsusa.org/2015adaptiveadventureday by October 5.
